Restaurant RAMA in Neufahrn bei Freising

Absolutely surprised by the food. With all the amount of restaurant of the category, that are existing in Berlin, here in a small Bavarian village I found the best indian food I ate so far in Germany.

Very nice restaurant in quiet area. Service is excellent and waiters are very kind and smiley. Food is very good and in my opinion the best I tried so far in the area. Pick up (during Covid) is fast and very well packed. Prices okay.

The Rama is one of our favorite restaurants. How so? 1. Because the food is very tasty and the price-performance ratio is great! 2. Because the service is excellent and you just feel comfortable here. The entire staff is friendly, courteous and warm. 3. Because the restaurant values ​​sustainability, i.e. there are great vegan dishes, organic products and to go food in reusable containers. 4. Consistently good food and service! So far every other "Indian" restaurant I have been to in Munich area does not live up to Rama. Maybe I should give up the search and stick to Rama!

Tastes ok but nothing special. A little bit of rice in this little box. Overall not particularly spicy.

The only restaurant in the area that really uses environmentally friendly packaging when collecting or packing leftovers - 5 stars for that alone. Rice comes in a cardboard box and meat etc. in a glass box with a deposit. Food tastes good, prices are okay.

Very tasty food! Good but not too spicy. Lamb and chicken skewers super tender and the sauces with them were also world class! Highly recommended !!

There is very fine Indian food here. We are very excited about the vegetarian Thali. Service is great. When the weather is nice, there are shady spots outside. We'll be back soon.

The best Indian restaurant in Munich. Wonderful food, very tasty, well cooked. It's needed to highlight the service, very very kind and professional. Don't lose the opportunity to try it.

Nothing Indian about this food. No spices. We had Malai Kofta and Aloo Gobi - the kofta was filled with uncooked potato, the Aloo Gobi had raw ginger and onions. Both tasted flat. Beware of the high score - this is not a good Indian restaurant.

I am from the Uk, to which as all Uk people know we love our curry. I have eaten in some of the best restaurants in the Uk from Leicester, Birmingham, Manchester and London and I love good quality traditional curry and no substitutes. I have been working in Germany for the last year or so and I keep trying all curry houses that I can from Hamburg, Berlin, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf and Colonge. I even tried a curry house in Munich yesterday and they were all either ok or pretty bad. But coming over to RAMA, it’s the best Indian (Punjabi) food I have eaten in Germany. I have to say it is also as good or not better then some of the curry I have had in the Uk. If you are from the Uk, don’t waste tour time in other curry houses, it’s worth the drive to here. On a separate note, the service is attentive as I was on my own, but also I saw the family next to me being looked after. I mean as soon as the rice was nearly finished, it was swooped up with a new full bowl. My views mean not a lot to most people and I have never ever put my review on line for any restaurant but I have been so impressed with the quality of food, real spice, ginger, coriander and of the fresh large nan, I had to put something up. I tell you now, each time I’m in Munich, I will be back.

We had dinner there during a short visit to Munich. We were 4 people, ordered a vegeterian talli for 2 and a non-veg talli for 2 for all of us to share. Eech talli included 6 indian dishes, like chicken curry, paneer butter masalah etc. Everything tasted great. Portions were generous and the staff was very friendly and efficient. I highly recommend Rama!

Good food, the service adequate, price fair

My experience with the ambience the service staff and the food was good. I liked the achhar/green chilli pickle most.Its a authentic Indian Restaurant.Similar Taste as well?

In the meantime we have been eating here three times in half a year and have always found excellent food, super friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere! Both the evening menu and the lunch menu offer a very tasty selection of Indian dishes, with the evening menu offering a bit more. So if you want to choose from the Gesamthebhebot, you should come in the evening. Since it has apparently got around, how good it tastes there, you should definitely book! When booking you are asked for a special occasion, so we were once seated at a beautifully decorated table and were photographed with a Polaroid camera, a great memory and very unexpected! All in all a perfect Indian restaurant!

I must say, this restaurant should work on grooming their Chefs to cook spices well. Almost all cuisines they served, had half cooked spices. I gave the same remark to them, I believe they improve it when I will visit next time. But overall this restaurant is good, staff is quite supportive and joyful.

One, if not the best Indian restaurant around Munich. The menu offers all the classics as well as many other options. The owner is super friendly, don't hesitate to ask for suggestions!
